Greetings Coalition Members,
Our hearts hurt for this nation. Racial injustice throughout our country’s history have led us here – and we commit our support and our voices to the millions calling for justice and for change. We will strive to be a part of the solution in committing to real changes being made on national, state, and local levels, and hope you will join us in these efforts as they come to light in NY and nationally.
We write today with a request from our longtime friend and colleague, Deborah Langosch, and her working group: Generations United, the GrandFamilies Outcome Workgroup (GrOW) and Collaborative Solutions have been working collaboratively to learn more about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on kincare families.
We’re sending this email because we believe it’s urgent to construct a comprehensive data story of the needs and resiliency experienced by kinship caregivers and multi-generational families across the US during this critical time. We’re asking for your help and other local, state and national organizations to reach out to kincare families in your community networks to collect this information via an online survey which we’ve recently developed. Please see link both below and in the attached letter which includes additional information.

If are able to pass this along to your caregivers – please do!
As always, you can reach us at: kincarecoalition@gmail.com
